I'm conservative and thought that was good stuff considering the venue. He has always been brilliant. He speaks truth masked in comedy and has always flirts with the edge. His bit about how Trump called out the elite was spot on. The only bit that I took issue with was about Trump's probable Russia ties which has effectively been disproven...but he had to throw a little red meat to the leftist overlords to cover for the other 95% of his act. That's the fine line he navigates so well. The closing line was incredible.

You are the snowflake sir. Trump was maybe 5% of his monologue. I laughed at the Trump bit especially the joke about Ivanka!

You must not have watched the whole thing.

It's getting old because Biden is 100% a gift to comedians, but they ignore the current leader in order to not make him an even bigger joke so they can focus on the guy who left office two years ago.

And that's why the comedy shows have such low ratings these days.

Makes me really appreciate the 90's, when guys like Carvey made fun of everyone equally and didn't pull punches.

This is a lazy take. SNL ebbs and flows. The cast from a couple years ago with Beck Bennett was phenomenal. So was the late 2000's cast.

The most recently departed cast was great. Loved anything with Beck Bennett and Aidy Bryant
