When you constituents get paid $65k a year to sit in their rent free apartment, have unprotected sex, free healthcare, and all the drugs their stimulus checks can afford, then you have to fill actual job vacancies.

Its easy to blame the people who hired these young workers. But its harder to put actual accountability on how this problem occurred. How did those kids here here? How did these illegal children get spread across the Country? Per above, why are there not more entry level workers who are here legally to do these jobs?

This is a result of FAILED government assistance policies, a coddle culture, the idea that some people deserve reparations or deserve to make $100k a year "living wage" to mop some blood off floors. Its a result of OPEN BORDERS that allow for a population to come into the Country, illegally, forcing them to work in the lowest of low paying jobs where people do not ask a lot of questions during the hiring process.

We are already paying multiples of what meat used to costs. You follow your action plan and it won't be about learning to code, it will be about learning how to raise a cow so your family can eat.

I'd rather start with vote for D and go to jail. Because that is the root of the problem.

Here's what most people don't know. 4 companies (Tyson, Cargill, JBS, and National) slaughter/process 85% of all the fed cattle in the United States. It's backbreaking work, and the vast majority of those who work those jobs are Hispanic. It's been that way for the 40 years I've worked in the food service industry.

The third shift, or graveyard, is when the plants are cleaned and sanitized. PSSI is the biggest in their trade and contracts sanitation out to the packers. It too is backbreaking work and the majority of their workers are Hispanic.

I've worked for a couple of steak processors (who purchase their materials from the big packers) who also used PSSI. Even back in the 90's we knew they were using illegal workers...but I never saw kids.

This definitely is on PSSI, but there's no way JBS management did not know about this. Cleaning and Sanitation is always overseen by someone in management that works for the packer. Also, I question how the USDA inspector(s) didn't see this since every plant needs to pass Pre-Op inspection, which is conducted by Federal Inspectors prior to starting the first shift.

Regardless, it seems we are reliving some of the issues Upton Sinclair addressed in his novel, The Jungle.

Yes we do. The wall is irrelevant to a system of foreign employment where a person can enter, work and leave in a streamlined fashion. It happens all the time, including g on my ranchito. The key is: We need to know who you are, where you're from, and when you'll be going home.

They can live 4 deep in a two bedroom house, eat better than they did back home, and send money home. I'm good with that, and you'll find that they don't all want to become little flag waving American citizens.

Probably seems like a reprieve from walking through Mexico and being raped by the Cartel they (their families) paid to bring them across the southern border because President Jose Bidenez said the border was open and come on up.

Pull one of these kids aside and ask them rather than use their stories to go after the companies.
