While there were undoubtedly coders let go, I doubt that was a majority. Believe it or not there are a lot of non-coding positions in tech companies. Managers of all sorts, designers, testers, researchers, sales (even for Twitter!), IT support people, HR, legal, etc. Not to mention all sorts of Twitter specific roles like those needed for all of their censoring, etc.deddog said:This. I suspect most people being let go don't code.
My take as well. As I said, Lisa Bloom should tweet an apology for her misunderstanding of the situation and delete her original tweets. Was and is unethical for her to solicit clients based upon her faulty knowledge of the facts and the law in this situation with twitter.AgBQ-00 said:
And that makes the whole lawsuit go away is my guess.
Honestly happy to be laid off but the veil of @elonmusk is pierced. As messy as Twitter was pre-elon, it is a veritable clowntown of politics and toadyism and psychological abuse now. Afraid to get in my Tesla with what I learned this week.

Over inflated sense of self worth. Like Musk cares enough about that guy to want to kill him via his Tesla, that is likely leased anyway.Quote:

Yes. A smart little piggy posted a graph showing how Trump caused 20% unemployment during his disaster of a presidency and Biden brought it to 50 year lows.Ellis Wyatt said:It is?newbie11 said:

Under the WARN Act, he would probably be exempt from protections because he has been employed fewer than 6 of the previous 12 months before the layoff or department closure. It would define him as a part-time employee.AggDawg said:

You didn't get it.
