But if he does comply, say that "it will take to about November 15th to assemble the testimony and supporting references."

Don't let the Democrats and Mainstream Media use him to distract from midterm voting or impact it.

This committee and the Democrats actually do not want him to testify cause they know he will crush them they just want to keep an allusion and a mirage going

He is not scheduled to testify until Nov 14th. There is no way the Dems will allow him to testify after the elections. They have nothing to gain and everything to lose.

They'll stage it to whenever he begins to rant he'll be "out of line" and then they'll put contempt of Congress on him.

Such a weak game, they really don't realize that doing something like that will further embolden his constituency as well as show independents their bellies. It's a terrible look but I can't imagine this going any other way.

Trump's not wrong to go, he's just got to play it well, which I think he will.

This would be like the Congressional hearing scene in Iron Man 2 where Tony Stark makes a mockery of the committee and blows kisses to the cameras.

He will request the hearing be scheduled after the Republicans take over Congress and this charade will be over.

I disagree. They will have already received their butt whooping at the polls and know that their committee is on the chopping block. If they back off, they will never get another dime from their rabidly anti-Trump base.

I think their primary hope was to have Trump ignore the subpoena so they could charge him Bannon style. I'll bet they figured Trump and his ego would fight against complying with the sham. I don't think they are so naive to have that as their only plan though. I'm sure they think they can humiliate him in hearings as a plan B. I think Trump is handling this the right way. Certainly, slow rolling any appearance until after the election would be the smart move. Nothing said in any hearing and nothing short of an actual indictment is going to matter after the election at all.

The Jan 6 Kangaroo Committee will never allow Trump to appear in person. He would make them look foolish and call them out on the partisan gamesmanship and outright lies.

I am sure Trump would also say some cringeworthy stuff and personal insults most of us do not want to hear. But he would make them look as stupid as they actually are.

This "committee" has already said they weren't going to allow live broadcast of Trump's testimony as it would turn their "hearings into a circus."

Not true he crushed Hillary in those debates he crushed Biden and you know it

On one of the debates against Biden, Trump was terrible. Complete bomb.

They would love to have him testify and get him in a perjury trap.

Trump hurt himself in Debate 1 by being too aggressive and not letting Biden talk and embarrass himself.

Trump absolutely crushed Biden in Debate 2. There is no arguing that.

I don't know it. It was very frustrating to watch because the policy issues were on his side but he made Biden look reasonable and presidential while he looked unhinged. In front of a committee he would be even further constrained and be playing by their rules even more than with a biased debate moderator

Trump did crush Biden in the debate but the fake news media spinned it to declare Trump was too mean and that it didn't sit well with suburban moms. That way, the left could stuff the ballot boxes from suburban women demos and say, "see? told you so!"
