If morality laws are necessary then you've already lost. If you let the village raise the kids, then the village idiots will be doing the raising. It takes involved parents and a nuclear family to raise a moral and upstanding children. Society's morality is only as good as the people's morals and expectations. A society of low expectations and no responsibility is what got us the mess we're in.

Frankly it's humbling to appreciate the mechanisms that God has put in place that governs man. Individuals doing things the right way on a large scale will result in the best societies. As moralities crumble so does the societies in question.
