How kind and thoughtful of you, gentleman. If my kid gets murdered in CT and some hack on a podcast in TX says something wrong about me or my dead kid, I would be mad, but I don't think I'd expect a billion dollars from anyone.

That exaggerates his position. It also insinuates responsibility for the acts of others based on views and words. What is the limit of responsibility when one person says something straining credulity, and other lunatics chose of their own free will to believe it and do unreasonable and offensive things based on their own beliefs.

How does suggesting something exert control over others such that there is intent and liability for the actions of that third party? Why are the lunatics not sued? Because that would be more difficult and they have far less money?

Alex Jones says some nutty BS or allows people to do so by asking them about it on his media. There is no doubt about that. I'm not so sure he ever called for the victims to be harassed.
