Hopefully they vote smarter and then it wont matter what our media covers.

Europeans made their own energy problems by pursuing policies that made them overly dependent on Russia, and Russia tried to exploit that when the opportunity arose but it wasn't a NATO issue. The problem is just a few member nations.

the account maybe from 2008 but that is one thing hackers do. find established, but perhaps forgotten, accounts with passwords revealed in other hacks. then they can make a bot look more authentic. not saying that's what is going on here but it is plausible.

Civil unease becomes civil unrest becomes civil disobedience becomes riots leads to the fall of governments.

I subscribe to a UK paper (Telegraph) that is conservative and generally does a good job keeping one apprised of what is happening in France. Right now, the only thing really newsworthy is a fuel shortage caused strikes at French refineries. I didn't see any news about the "Yellow Vest" movement holding large protests, but they have protested rises in fuel taxes in the past, so it wouldn't necessarily be unusual to see them react to this event (even though it's not a case of the government causing problems for people who depend on fuel).

I did a google search and the news about French protests regarding NATO appeared to originate with Iranian news agencies, who, not surprisingly, were not covering French protests in sympathy with the current protests being waged in their own country. I would take that reporting with a very large grain of salt.

All this tells me is that the European version of the MSM has successfully duped a bench of euros into blaming NATO (easy target) instead of their own lefty governments for the problems they created. Pretty rote stuff and not at all surprising.
