Explain it to me like a below average Neanderthal that I must be,

Why is the mob attack on Tomi Lahren's carrying out her constitutional right just protesting vs Jan 6th the darkest day in the history of our nation? Other than here the cops didn't let them in.

Do you think if allowed in they would not have hurt, possibly killed her? Do you think a podium may have been moved and a bullhorn used indoors?

If Jan 6th is the new 9/11, then what is this?

That's (D)ifferent.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Everyone here needs to become intimately familiar with Carl Schmitt's "Friend-Enemy Distinction."

This is the perfect example. The J6 protestors are enemies of the regime. The Tomi protestors are friends of the regime. It's really very very simple.

The Democratic Party leadership and their trained thugs/minions have absolutely no respect for the right to free speech. This is becoming more amped and more apparent each day.

National socialists (Nazis), Democrat Socialists (Bernie AOC etc.), Marxists, and "Antifa" are all fascists who want gov to impose "equity" on everyone else. Whether it jews participating in a 1930s German economy, or MAGA "extremists" fed up with DC swamp, the same means justify the ends. Same general tactics.

Who cares about the labels. The communists and the fascists both want the same thing, absolute control. The only real reason either one is "anti-" the other is because neither one of them want the competition from the other.

If my recollection is correct, there was a bit of xenophobia in the mix as well. The nazis were home grown and nationalist and saw the commies as stemming from a foreign influence. Today's antifa are AINO, antifa in name only. If anything their are anarchists tools in the hands of globalist totalitarians.

That shows a remarkably shallow grasp of history. Normally fascist movements have arisen to fight Marxist aggression and then dissolved when the aggression was gone.

The dictionary defines fascism per below. It's Wikipedia and leftists who add in "far right" to definition. The spectrum should be total gov control on left and no government control on right. Dictators on the left self governing civilians on the right. If Trump were to start weaponizing the DOJ/FBI to go after political opposition like Biden is doing, that would be going to the left, not the right. Right wing is anti-gov.

Quote:

Fascism- a political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual and that stands for a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, severe economic and social regimentation, and forcible suppression of opposition

Your not really listening to anyone on this thread. The point is, all of your distinctions don't matter. They are all anti-liberty, anti-individualist, and highly authoritarian. That makes them all anti-American.

No that's stupid. Because it says all government control is the same no matter what they do with it. There is a difference between Charlemagne and Chairman Mao. There is a difference between Pinochet and Che Guevara.

Right wing is not anti-gov. The left told you that so you wouldn't use the government against them. Seemed it work. Meanwhile they'll use the government and lack of government against you at will

I have gotten to the point where I just hate any Nazi comparisons because it is just lazy at this point and both sides use them so often that they have lost their meaning. You can just as easily look at what Stalin and Lenin did or Mao or Pol Pot or Chavez or Castro and find relevant examples.

The point is that the left is wielding power against you and all you have to respond with is rhetorical nonsense. Somehow the left has convinced conservatives to hand over the only thing that can put a stop to them- wielding power.

There are degrees on that scale. Somewhere to the right of all the forms of leftist authoritarians and somewhere to the left of total anarchy is a nice comfortable spot of limited government the respects and responds to individual liberty. That's where we SHOULD be.

If your only metric is more or less centralized government, in what way is Charlemagne on a different degree than Chairman Mao? Charlemagne was the entirety of the government

The founder believed in the power in the hands of the people, which is why there is a 2nd amendment. What we lack is leadership. The power is there and there is an appropriate usage of it by the right. I don't see how you can come to this forum and say that conservatives here have been convinced to not wield power against the enemy considering the typical responses. The devil is in the detail though about wielding that power occurs.

No one who considered themselves right wing would agree with this 35 years ago. Which, oddly enough, is right about when ex-Trotskyites seized control of the GOP under the name "neoconservatives."

I believe the American system is best. Decentralized power and the laboratory of states governing themselves how they wish. It is in the competition of ideology that will produce diverse solutions and environments. Choose the state which best fits you. If you want pro-abortion, go there. If you want pro-child porn, vote for it in your state.

I believe what it comes down to is a few dozen students having a fit on their own university campus is not the same thing as a couple of thousand conspiracy theorists storming the national capital during the peaceful turnover of power of the most powerful elected position in the world.
