Yup - we have given up any resemblance of self control and governance for hash tag crusades. At some point these masses will expand out from the blight and look to the suburbs.

You know, we don't have a homeless problem

We have a drug problem

And, at least out here in California, we ignore the drug problem and call it mental illness, otherwise counties wouldn't receive federal and state monies for treatment.

How does society claw back from this?

You have to attack the supply, you will never deal with the demand. Some of these new drugs are so addicting it is nearly impossible to get people off of them without massive resources and individual care.

There will still be some people who dare enough to deal drugs, but it'll be done at the margins of society instead of the middle of the street corner

Seen this before. That street in Philly gets the most attention, but every major city has one of "those" streets. But to answer your question, I think yes the hunched-over zombie pose is due to fentanyl.

Honest question for liberals on the board. Does it concern you at all how prevalent these scenes are in Democrat controlled cities? Example would be how New York has changed since Giuliani left office. Does this represent things being well managed? Are things better under democrats control?

That's really sad. Each one of these people is someone's mom, dad, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, son, daughter.

There are a bunch of YouTube videos of this kinda stuff in philly that are truly fascinating to see.

Keep in mind it is places like this that 'elected' Joe Biden, and have a similarly brain-dead Fetterman set to become a US Senator.

Wow. Every time I watch one of those videos that is more than a couple of days old, I wonder how many of those people are now dead.

Leftists don't care because they're trying to reduce the population anyway . You could argue that it's intentional.

Saddest thing to me is just how fixable this is but there has to be a will to fix it. Rudy fixed NYC when it was basically this and he did it quickly. All you have to do is enforce the law and have no tolerance for people that break it. Our problem is that so many liberals actively fight to keep things this way.

The second thing we need to do of course (just as importantly) is shut the border and have real controls. That's harder but also can be accomplished but once again it's really tough when you have so many in the country opposed to it.

If you don't think that China and the WEF are basically tag teaming to dominate American Media and Culture to convince the US to commit suicide you really aren't paying attention. They want this and they want it to get worse. They want you to be miserable and dependent on them. You have some key folks that are bought off (starting with the Big Guy and a lot of folks in Congress including in the GOP) and then millions of useful idiots. It staggers me how people can't see the obvious.

And democrat activist ballot harvesters make sure the zombies vote.
