Shocked that even conservative pollsters aren't showing a Republican lead. What about Biden makes people want to vote Dem.

His absence and more talented messaging strategies by the Democrats in general. They know how to whip up LIVs.

You can hear the glee from the OP.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

He has said some things that you can't get away with in a purple state.

Combinations of:

1. After decades of various intrusions of government inserting itself into what used to be free market options for basic necessities, the subsidies and free money trains have created actual dependencies by a literal majority of people whose whole existence relies on government handouts in all the various forms (between unemployment and disability, medicaid/medicare, housing subsidies, WIC, etc.) Anyone preaching reigning in these programs is unthinkable to those who are dependent because they cannot imagine any reality where these programs don't exist.

2. ongoing brainwashing, conditioning, and labeling by the mainstream media anyone the slightest bit conservative is an actual factual literal nazis. This creates a situation where individuals are vindicated if not deemed heroic for opposing, confronting, and causing violence towards conservatives.

The primary combination of these two facts plus a whole host of other mental illnesses and factually incorrect "truths" inserted into the modern political landscape has created a situation where true conservatives can likely never win a national election again without radical changes to the landscape without liberal opponent being able to claim a false moral high ground.

Within the MOE. Still early. Youngkin was down at this point in VA. It's not over yet. If he's still down in mid October, it's time to worry.

This was the polling in 2016. The Democrat almost always leads in Wisconsin polling.

Barnes has a good message for Wisconsin in terms of what they want to hear. Johnson had been toying with retirement for a long time and decided not to step aside. GOP really didn't have anybody else to run.

GOP is going to win the house and lose seats in the Senate. Trump screwed the GOP chances of winning the Senate.

That's Huffington Post. Trafalgar is usually leaning
towards GOP. If Trafalgar has GOP behind, they are really behind.

Yep. The Ron Johnson call on election night 2016 was the moment I realized Trump had a real shot and that polling from that point on was essentially worthless

Did you look at the entire thing. It is combining a lot of polls.

There's no glee…I don't think I've ever voted for a Democrat.

It's tough to swallow as a Christian, but we have to remember that our government is instituted by God alone. And as is clear in the Bible, he doesn't always install good leaders. Maybe this country is under judgment and doesn't deserve a change in the "race to the bottom" government we have now. So no matter what the polls look like, or how much it seems like Republicans should roll, it may not be his will.

Romans 13:1

Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.

I don't get why people vote for the candidate instead of party in a Senate election. Governor I can get. Senators just vote with party lines 95%+ of the time.

Any pollster who fudges the numbers to give his preferred candidate the lead would quickly prove himself to be pretty useless as a pollster.

all of the pollsters put their thumbs on the scale, one way or the other, even if it is the specific wording they chose to use.
You do see that quite a bit for certain types of polls.

But if your political poll is worthwhile to your candidate, then he needs to know what he is doing well and where he needs to put more effort and maybe change things up.

Is he lagging in this county or that county? Does he need to go there for a day and shore up his support?

How are voters reacting to this or that message? Does he need to emphasize the message more? Does he need to explain his views better? Does he need to downplay one or more views?

Every poll that only shows what the candidate wants to see is doing him a gross disservice and the candidate who trusts such polls is hurting himself. As a candidate in any close election, the better the quality of the feedback you receive, the better your chance of adapting to it and winning the election.

I've read that the Electoral College, which currently seems to favor Republicans, is likely to start to favor the Democrats as the cities gain more and more in comparison to the rural areas.

message is irrelevant more and more, with only a few exceptions.

it is party pure and simple.
There has always been a sizable number of people who are not strictly one party or the other.

If you just concentrate on your faithful, you are going to find it hard to win. I think that has a lot to do with Trump's loss in 2020. It never seemed like he was going after the vote of anyone but his strongest supporters. That was a very amateur move and was very likely the difference in the election.

The inability to distance themselves from Trump is killing the Republican's chances to win in swing states.

While Biden isn't popular and progressives are doing their best to scare off voters, independents look at the Republican Party and see a bunch of brainwashed, Q-Anon loving, election-deniers.

No. There's just a lot of disinformation out there. You apparently are falling for some of it.

For some strange reason, most don'T know the generic has trended toward the GOP the past week.

As far as Johnson goes (LOL), he's doing fine, vs. the drubbing Feingold was gonna give him last time.

Just push and psyop polls to suppress the GOP vote.

Biden has been an unmitigated disaster. The fact that polling shows it +2% R shows what a failure sticking with Trump has been. If Biden were mildly coherent, Dems would be running away with the mid terms.

We are at the point where we need oil prices to skyrocket, interest rates to keep rising, inflation to keep rising, and the stock market to crash the next 2.5 months in order to save this country. You know it's sad but true.

Watching TNT and have seen a commercial FOR the inflation increasing act FOR Biden. The GOP is good at snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. 22 and 24 will probably be just that.

Yes on Biden, but the issues around Trump are not driving anyone to vote against Ron Johnson in Wisconsin in 2022. Sorry, don't see it.
