I saw him at Caesars Palace maybe 10 years ago and he looked horrible. Whitest person id ever seen. He just looked lifeless.

I didn't vote for him either time, but compared to the **** show that was Obama and the triple **** show that is Biden, Clinton wasn't actually a horrible president. I know where you think you're going with this, and in fairness to you, you did qualify it with a comparison to now, but sorry, his terms as "President" was nothing short of a disaster.
He all but caused 9/11 with his total incompetence and unwillingness to do anything foreign policy related, except as it related to getting his personal shortcomings off the headlines by bombing aspirin factories. He was gifted with 6 years of generally good economic times that he could have worked with Congress to extend and virtually make himself immortal as one of the great Presidents, but instead chose to go the way of his party by raising taxes and choking off some of the growth early in his first term. He fought Congress on balanced budgets and welfare reform, he somewhat invented and certainly perfected the pay for play schemes that have infested the democrat party (and the country) since he's been in office, to the detriment of us all. He's the reason Wall Street, and business in general, took a hard left turn from supporting Republicans to democrats.
You see, when you have politicians in your back pocket that will do whatever you want just by giving them cash, you no longer care what the other issues are. You get rich and everyone else be damned. Clinton, like no one else in history, installed Robert Rubin, and the two of them realized they could take industry for every cent available.
To say he "wasn't actually a horrible president" is as dead wrong as one could be. We just didn't see the effects of his misery at the time, but today, its all together clear.
