I think he meant that they had likely filed a complaint which lead to the IA.

More severely punishing a crime because of a suspect's 'thoughts' or 'feelings' is stupid.

If someone murders me because they hate that I am a straight white conservative OR if the murder me because they just want to rob me...... the end result is that I am still murdered.

This is a video of a hate crime.

I'm not defending her actions, she's obviously drunk and obnoxious.

The "assault" appears to happen at 0:30 seconds.

Remember this is a hate crime... Watch the video so you know how to recognize one.
