I know everyone is not the same, but this caught my attention.
I coach a 5th grade football team in Overland Park, KS. I have a handful of kids completely out of shape. They get tired and complain within first 20 min of practice.
Kids are alarmingly overweight these days.
Kids are alarmingly overweight, and what that's doing is affecting our military recruitment. In the same segment, Bill talked about how the recruitment rates are missing their goals and one of the two reasons is because the people (kids) that they target are over the weight limit or have a criminal record.
Our kids being too overweight to serve, even if they want to, can become an issue in a few years.
As for the celebrating of the obese, that's yet another "woke" thing of this younger generation. I've lost nearly a hundred pounds from nothing but exercise and diet and it takes years when you still eat real food, but it can be done. People are either too lazy or too happy with how they are, and that's fine, that affects my life not one bit, but to celebrate it, that's where I draw the line. If for nothing more than it's unhealthy.
Another good point Bill said was about the rates of deaths when covid hit and how it affects those who were obese.
There are in fact two things, science and opinion; the former begets knowledge, the later ignorance. Hippocrates
