Radicals are essentially those who wish to tear down the social order and rebuild it as they think it should be. That applies every bit as much to the far right as it does to the far left.
As for my objections to Trump, they have nothing to do with fairness. They are because Trump is an entitled piece of **** who is both incompetent and untrustworthy. January 6 showed us just how right I've been all along about that.

Llike it or not, Trump was not in there for the good of the country. He was there because he wanted to be liked and admired. As such, he considered any criticism as being unfair because, after all, he was someone we should all like and admire whether we like it or not. And the Trump Snowflake Army just keeps lapping it up.
He was incredibly thin skinned, no doubt. He had a limited playbook of adjectives that trended towards hyperbole good or hyperbole bad. Some criticism of him was absolutely fair.
Remove Trump from the equation. They now are changing the meaning of every single syllable produced, or every single action taken, into something nefarious when it comes from non-liberals. They do it now every time. Gone are the days of a liberal slant. They openly advocate that non-liberal views shouldn't be printed, broadcast, or shared in any manner. They advocate that the media being balanced and neutral is wrong.
They turned you into exactly what they wanted - someone who refused to acknowledge the good existed and believed 100% of every intentional reimaging of what he said or did. It worked.
Take Trump out of the conversation. They run the exact same playbook on every non-liberal person or entity today that they perfected during the last POTUS's term.
The media actively lit the match and provided the fuel to burn the country for 4 years, hoping that eventually non-liberals would do anything even remotely resembling the "mostly peaceful protests" they'd championed. A few numbskulls finally gave them what they wanted on 1/6. But they aren't about to allow anything be presented that shows people not on those numbskulls sides were intentionally pulling levers to make something happen.
That's why the January 6th hearings are a complete farce. After the blatant lies and manipulation of the last term, there is zero reason to trust anything that comes out of those hearings. The committees were cherry picked to ensure that not one single person would contradict the party narrative. Not one single piece of evidence that indicates there were nefarious and coordinated actions designed to hurt Trump and non-liberals will be presented or discussed.
That's why as I made my entry to this thread at ?3am? today. Liz Cheney, Dick Cheney, and the whole lot of them can **** right off. Nothing they can say or present at the 1/6 hearings is going to move my needle against Trump. I've got my own list of things about him I hate, and they have nothing to do with a fake insurrection. I can look past the BS and see that he did some bad ass things for this country, but nobody in the media, nor on those committees, is going to ever admit it.
Theyv'e lied for years. No way I'm going to give a **** about what they have to say about anything on their version of The View. The media, liberals, and never-Trumpers have done nothing for years but make the argument that nothing they say should be believed.
What they did the last election, during non-liberal president XYZ's term, was something that if continued for too many cycles, this country will not exist in short order. Is that 10 years? 20? 50? I don't know. But it is unsustainable to have a press we have today in lock-step with a single party that simultaneously has the freedoms of the 1st. I'm not advocating for removing the 1st either. I'm just saying it is not sustainable and the next country/ies to occupy this land will be likely be following something much worse than the civil war.
