I don't get why they emphasize how devastating a bullet wound is.

The entire purpose of shooting someone is to do devastating, debilitating damage to get the bad guy to stop doing the evil thing he's doing.

I believe it is the 9mm that blows lungs out, good sir. The 22 calibers are supposed to not be as dangerous, though I suppose the extra .003 in a .223 makes it a bit more horrific than other 22's.

This is the problem with idiots, they are always searching for confirmation of their existing agenda. They receive some nugget of truth, but they don't really hear or understand it, they just twist it and manipulate it to try to support their objective.

Yes, the ballistics of being hit with a .223 round are exponentially worse than a pistol. That's accurate. But of course, the same applies to any rifle round not just a particular caliber. As far as rifle rounds go, the .223 is light.

"Liquify organs" is just political theatre wording. If he's said they transfer of energy from any center mass hit will likely kill you if it's a rifle round - just from the amount of energy transferred through all your vita organs, that wouldn't have made the sound bite he wanted.

Also - the deadliness of my .223 is the exact reason I want it in a crisis. I have no interest in merely wounding someone who poses a threat to my life of my family's life.

If I buy an AR-15 based on the idea I need to liquify some organs as promised, can he be sued for false advertising when that doesn't happen? Same for decapitations, lungs removed, etc.

A 134gr Shock Hammer @ 3400FPS in a 264 Win Mag liquifies organs in whitetails and hogs..... A full metal jacket 55gr bullet in a .223 does not!
