Adams calls on Biden as shelters overrun with migrants

New York City's homeless shelters are being overrun with asylum-seeking migrants as the immigration crisis at the southern border worsenswith nearly 3,000 arriving in recent weeks,

Mayor Eric Adams warned Monday. Adams called on President Biden to send "additional federal resources immediately" so the city can handle the overflow.

"If we do not get these urgently needed resources, we may struggle to provide the proper level of support our clients deserve, while also facing challenges as we serve both a rapidly growing shelter population and new clients who are seeking asylum," Adams said in a prepared statement.

Adams said the illegal immigrants included families "arriving on buses."

It sucks but if the feds won't allow border states to send them back to their country of origin, the next best thing would be making the stupid, blue states live with it. Of course, I'm hoping the border states will just start ignoring the feds and deporting them.

Oh, I agree, I'm not opposed to what they're doing, but once they're in the country before long they'll go anywhere they wany anyway, and how many are we busing up there, 1 in a 1000 maybe, of the ones that we even catch?

Our infrastructure, schools, and healthcare system cannot continue to handle millions of people with their hand out. They need to be transferred to places that have no idea how burdensome this has become.

What chaps my ass is that Biden will likely send NYC money to help them deal with the Illegals they are getting but he will not send a dime down here where we have tens of thousands we did not want either.

This all gets corrected when everify has some real teeth. $100k per day fines per illegal and $50k per day for not verifying your entire workforce.
