As a father with kids around that age, that's painful to watch on many levels. Kid is barely out of pull ups and already doesn't stand a chance.

I wish I could make some snide remark, but that's just terrible. What a shame that it has come to this.

Mimicry of older persons in the child's social environment. That's a doomed child unless better examples of behavior emerge quickly.

I was delivering pizzas in New Orleans as a young man and ended up in some pretty rough parts of town and one time I had a kid about 5 or 6 point his fingers at me like a gun and say "gimme all your money" and his dad laughed and said "nah son, you ain't old enough for all that yet" it was surreal and I remember it like it was yesterday.

Why would anyone be a LEO in any community like that. You are in the ultimate no win situation.

Teachers are going to have to endure that before those kids are old enough to get put into the justice system.

Besides the aggressive child, did you hear the one behind him? When the aggressive child hit the cop initially, and fell back, another kid says, 'wow, you push that little kid?'. That victim mentality will cripple him in life. But he's just modeling what he's seen.

Hopefully those officers are able to show them some kindness and change their perception.

This is why we have a teacher shortage. Like my LEO post, who wants to be responsible for this mess. It's only a matter of time before your job is on the line or you're getting sued for some false victim status stuff.

I'm torn on this.

On one hand, it's very depressing.

On the other hand, this is how everyone should treat ATF agents all the time.

We are in for hard f***ing times. The chickens haven't even begin to come home to roost. Just think of how much further kids like him fell behind during the two year pandemic than your typical child. Even if he was adopted by loving parents, I am not sure he would ever have a chance...the damage is done.

We are in desperate need of a national voluntary sterilization for $$$ program. There is no way his mother would have turned down $5k for irreversible sterilization.

Actually he would do quite well and that is what he needs, love.

But there is not enough good people to fix this problem, and with Roe repealed it is going to get worse. (Btw I support Roe being repealed, but more of this will be one of the consequences that society had to face).
