That's why the dems want to take away guns from citizens. They know their policies will cause this.

They devastated their agriculture industry with government mandates to go completely organic. There are 22 million people there in danger of starving. Unfortunately the world is in chaos and won't be in any position to mount a relief effort of that magnitude.

World governments are creating these situations with green initiatives. Look what's transpiring in the Netherlands right now with the Dutch farmers. Why is the government wanting to reduce farming 30% at a time when food shortages and the possibility of famine is being talked about as a real possibility?

You have to ask yourself if this is gross negligence or is it intentional.

Read up on the country's forced conversion of their farms to organic. A couple small scale organic farmers got into power at the govt and mandated everyone quit synthetic fertilizer. Complete disaster and the country relied a lot on tea exports for income.

Also think back to psaki's solution to our own fertilizer shortage of "just be organic". Civilization hinges on synthetic fertilizer and there is no replacement.

Sri Lanka declared bankruptcy yesterday.

There have been riots for the past few months because they have no fuel, inflation is out of control, foor prices are skyrocketing, blackouts for over 12 hours a day, and medicines are hard to come by.

The police/military was ordered to shoot rioters.

And now, the Sri Lankan people have over run the presidential palace.

Why not gold? It's interesting that people keep talking about BTC as a safe haven when that boring old yellow metal just sits there holding its value for thousands of years. Literally nothing has been a more stable store of value than gold. Crypto may be the future. But it sure as hell isn't a good place to store wealth for the long term. We've seen it drop 70% in just the last few months. Gold may be boring but it's safe and it can't be inflated.

We need to remove democrats from office to avoid this happening here, if it isn't too late already.

Wasn't it Norman Borlaug, who said that if we want to go full organic, we should first choose which 2/3 of the population we plan to starve to death?

It is a damn shame the left continues to smear that brilliant man. He did more to save people's lives and improve living conditions than any leftist ever dreamed of.

this is INTENTIONAL they/ the elite have said it. people are not paying attention. by 2030 you will not own a house or a car and like it. we will not have guns unless we fight with and for them. we will have no freedom and we will eat bugs. they are telling us their intentions but no one believes them. it is crazy

if we don't wake up, before the end of brandon's presidency we will be in the exact same position. they will starve us out and force us to trade guns for food.

You're wrong on a lot of things, but not this.

Tools, fuel, ammo, food, survival skills...all much better than gold in a true SHTF scenario.

The absolute best gold can do is equal inflation. Except you buy retail and sell wholesale, so it can't even do that.

It might work out yet. An argument can be made that them running out of town and power literally the ones who brought them to that state is at least the minimum first step. What else could they do. Same should happen in Holland.

In case you havent noticed, gold is touted as a hedge against inflation. Well, the country has the highest inflation since the 70's and gold is at the low's of the year.

You're better off sinking your gold money into poor man's precious metals - brass and lead.

Brass & lead takes gold & silver anytime it wants. Think about it.

Agreed.

But while I can't base this on anything it's just maddening knowing (assuming, really) that probably 2/3 of the people storming the palace have been voting for this end. Most people are hopelessly selfish and short sighted and dumb.

Well, it can when your government is using paper as a proxy against gold and decides to issue more paper regardless of how much gold there is...which has happened.

Gold was great for a time but it's not practical in the current digital world.

Granted, the elites are trying their hardest to return us to the dark ages, so maybe gold will be practical again!

Quite likely like here they have a Media class that lies to them 24/7 and gaslight tricked them into those voting directions. If it is even that free of a process there--- I am not familiar with the current govt and how much it might model after India's.

Actually, dems want to take guns to allow this country to devolve to that point, so they can "reset, and build back better". They know guns will stop that and make way for new order to restore liberty and happiness. Take guns, and dems can bankrupt US and restructure it to a modern Socialist utopia filled with equity.
