My kids are in their early 20's now but I didn't put them in these organizations precisely because this was obviously their direction 10-15 years ago too.

It's deliberate child endangerment to put kids in them nowadays.

Completely predictable. Just a reminder, BSA had won its court cases on gays in scouts, but then voluntarily pulled a 180.

I have 2 boys in a scouts and just got back from summer camp. No rainbow flags anywhere. No mention of gender crap. Nothing. Some dorks running around for sure but several corps cadets and recent Aggie graduates were instructors at the camp.

If the National Scouting organization did this, then I would have a serious problem. But so far it looks like a radical troop leader threw their kids out there without endorsement from executive leadership?

Keep in mind some of the largest donors to Scouts are conservative billionaires, and I doubt they would accept this. They shouldn't.

It is.

The things my kid has gotten to do through the organization has really increased his self-confidence. And each troop has quite a bit of autonomy as to which skills will be focused on. Our fall campout usually focuses on orienteering, knife safety, and fire safety. The spring campout involves driving a standard, archery, animal track identification. Part of the day was spent with all the kids launching stuff from a trebuchet built by the high school kids.
