This topic was posted a while back when the change to lottery occurred. The school started using lottery for admission instead of grades.

The vote was only 4-3. Give it a decade and it'll be permanently reversed once the libs have their numbers. Merit has no place in a diverse, utopian society /libs

Quote:

In a 4-3 vote, the school board decided to restore the previous merit process after two years of using a lottery-based system. The vote will now apply to freshman entering in the fall of 2023 as well as future classes, unless the board takes further action in the future to change the admission process.

Soooooooooooo we are finally learning the lesson I knew back in the early 90s when they first tried this?

If you put dumb kids in a class full of smart kids, the dumb kids don't get smarter.

The smart kids get dumber.

Glad the progs in San Fran finally figured this out.
