Pesticide/herbicide in a field then they accidentally got put in there???
Herbicide is not deadly to mammals unlsess the cattle are drinking straight from the jug

Pesticides are more toxic, but are applied at rates of maybe a pint per acre. Imagine a medium drink spread evenly across an entire football field. If the cattle were in the field when sprayed, they might get a little sick, not a lot dead

Like herbicie, they would have to be drinking it straight from a container, not as applied.

As stated above, there's over 6 million head in Kansas. More than 2.5 million of them in feedlots... that 2k number is nothing. I doubt their average loss is much less.

It's a BS stat geared to make folks pearl clutch over climate change IMHO.

When we bring down show steers from Nebraska and Kansas, they either spend summers in a cool room or under fans and misters all day.

Then again those are show steers, but cattle up north can't handle the same humidity and heat that southern cattle can.
