When you break it down you find that the vast majority of the rise is in trans and bisexual identification, and in particular amongst young women. This is where the social contagion has come into play.

The much smaller rise Gay/Lesbian identification can be accounted for largely on the basis of population growth and social acceptance (ie fewer live "in the closet").

And where can you watch the movie? One app I have that tells were you can stream free/rent/pay, only has "free to stream" on Kanopy (never heard of it, and when I tried on my phone, it just has the endless loading circle).

Yes by a lot. Walsh's movie touches the surface level but the book details a history and more importantly the groups, networks, and money behind all this.

I'd recommend the authors Open Society Playbook as well which deals more broadly with globalization, open borders, etc.

How do you feel about the "T" being included under this umbrella? True gender dysphoria is rare and is far more strongly associated with poor life outcomes and other psychosocial disorders than homosexuality even at the height of homosexual discrimination. And it's pretty clear at this point that the overwhelming majority of "trans" individuals today represent social contagion and not true gender dysphoria.

I believe a day is coming where homosexuals will want and need to dissociate themselves from the transgender movement for their own good. Associating the two so closely allows those who wish to do so to attribute the pathologies of trans individuals to homosexuals, when they are pretty clearly disconnected psychosexual phenomenon and one appearing to have a far larger innate basis than the other.

Since I am "the T", and the statement you made is functionally propaganda, no , I dont think I agree with you....hope you don't hit patients with that kind of mess.

Nope. Women. And not just white women. Mostly women that operate as loose heterosexuals willing to make out with other women for attention, so they identify as bisexual because it's status boosting, but also a rise in genuine bisexuality and transgenderism among women. Transgenderism used to heavily skew towards MTF, but now it's 50-50.

Anyone who wants to remove the T from LGBT doesn't really understand any history of the gay rights movement. Marsha P. Johnson was one of the key activists at Stonewall in 1969. It's always been part of the group pushing for gay rights. It would throwing that group under the bus now that you got yours. It's not like it's a recent addition it was always just the hardest to push for and the lowest percentage so it wasn't first in line.

And it's always the people who never would have accepted homosexuals who now go "oh I'm cool with homosexuality but why are you helping the Ts out, they're weird." We all know you would never have accepted homosexuals if they hadn't pushed for it. 20 years ago you didn't even put up with them.

This is interesting. I wonder if a lot of these women who aspire to be men have what was called ***** envy back in the 70s. Fed a steady diet of toxic masculinity...men have all the power...men are everything we should want to be; rather than celebrating the strong woman mantra of past years, better to just join the other side. I dont know, just seems so pervasive now days. I know from when my youngest daughter was in high school a few years back, bisexuality was not just celebrated but encouraged.
