"Despite decades of rising gun deaths and mass murderers using assault weapons, your company has continued to market assault weapons to civilians, reaping a profit from the deaths of innocent Americans."

Specifically, the panel wants the manufacturers to reveal their "annual gross revenue and profit" from semi-automatic rifle sales; the number of semi-automatic weapons sold to distributors, retailers, consumers and government agencies; and the amount the companies have spent on advertising and marketing semi-automatic rifles all within the past decade.

Democrats would like nothing more than to remove the federal protection from gun manufacturers so they can be sued out of existence. Then they don't even need to ban anything. No one will be able to buy a gun.

Adding liability to gun companies for criminal acts committed by third parties will be used to completely disarm the public and stop the sale of manufactured small arms to the public. They'll drive them out of business and make them impossible to insure and impossible to finance.

This will be used to stop the sale to the public of small arms and ammunition.

Hell, they might require gun owners to carry liability insurance. They'd regulate the insurance contract where it would make it unaffordable for most people to have guns.

If they cram this through, its game over.

So what will they do when they target all the manufactures and they have nobody to make weapons to ship to Ukraine?

Then again Ukraine is old news. Dems have moved the goal post.

They'll be a few companies that will make small arms for sale to government. Essentially defense contractors. No sale to the general public.

They are not gonna ban guns. They are gonna ban sale to the public.

Then they are gonna ban guns later, incrementally by adding taxes, fees and insurance requirements.

They'll deny gun related business access to banking and finance industries.

Money from the sale of guns wont be able to pass through the banking system.

They have this all ready to go.
They can then attack guns etc and everyone loses track of the real problem which is THEM!

This is scary. The Dems/Libs are looking to turn the entire justice system upside down. If they make it where you can sue gun companies for an illegal use of a firearm then people will be able to sue car companies and alcohol companies for drunk drivers causing accidents. Power tool companies for accidents with their tools. They will sue the Electric Company for someone putting a fork into a wall receptable and getting electrocuted.

Every company in the US will be open for lawsuit anytime an idiot gets hurt by their product.. This would destroy capitalism.

Sadly almost half the people in the country would fully support this happening.
