I thought social credit systems were Chinese communism?

The Chinese aren't really communist anymore. They just pretend to be for show. They've been a sort of autocratic nationalist facist state for a while now.

Yep. It'll start off with little incentives. Then the ESG corporations will start offering little marketing promotions for your bonus points just like airline miles.

Will point out that this is simply "gamification" and has been around for several years in the consumer and gaming industries. Examples: credit card rewards, frequent flyer programs, point reward systems in all aspects of gaming, etc.

This is simply intersecting it with government now and it's a brilliant move by the lizard people pushing it because most people are already wired into a system like this. It will come as second nature for most anyone that isn't older.

It's horrific and dystopian and I won't be participating.
