Damn. Watermelon, ribs, fried chicken and now ice cream are all racist and only black folks are entitled to them.
What's a southern white kid supposed to eat in summer time?
Wow.
Eating fried chicken and watermelon isn't racist. It's delicious. If you don't like fried chicken and watermelon, there's something wrong with you

Juneteenth is a Texas holiday
It makes no sense as a national holiday beyond Dems trying to make it the Leftist replacement for 4th of July

Don't forget a few white gurlz! World Star!
Walmart does not own the trademark nor is it trying to trademark Juneteenth as the OP's tweet suggested.Ol_Ag_02 said:
I don't really think the tweet is necessarily angry about the ice cream but the trademark next to Juneteenth, which is really stupid by Walmart.
And the reality is that Juneteenth ice cream should freaking taste like watermelon.
Juneteenth is a summer Houston/Galveston holiday. I don't know about you guys but when I think summer and Texas I'm reminding of picking watermelons from my grandparents patch and having grandad slice big pieces of to give to all of us grandkids to eat outside.
The only other Texas summer taste that reminds of my childhood in Houston is the mosquito truck. Doubt that would sell very well.

Seems like owl enjoys them, just doesn't like being told he's "appropriating culture."

You seem to get easily offended. Either you are a great troll or just so sensitive you can barely survive. Guessing the first. Hoping not the second.

However, Juneteenth is trademarked and products carrying it have to send a little to the trademark holder and indicate to those purchasing the product that it is trademarked.

I'm guessing a purposeful troll sock created to be the ideal lefty. Almost has to be one of the long timers here messing with people. It's too perfect of a formulaic progressive left stereotype with every response.

Don't you dare take my grape drink!
They apparently thought this was going to be celebrated like other federal holidays. On the Fourth aisles are festooned with the Stars and Stripes on various products, for instance. But evidently this new holiday should go by unmarked in retail judging by what some are saying.dunlay said:
Why is Walmart even trying these pandering tactics? Seems pretty stupid -- more folks are looking at these stunts as dumb tricks of 'bow to the protected group de-jeur'.

I'm confused. A company is selling stuff for the holiday? Should the holiday not be celebrated?
