The search for her has been called off by the family.

My son and I delivered mattresses to Afhgan Refugees at the beginning of the year. We were driving into the community and it was just Afghan men and boys. No women or girls to be seen. It gave off a bad vibe to me and my son said it felt not right.

I read this story and I believe the child was abducted in the Afghan community or a mercy killing.

It say in the story that they are tired of the conspiracy theories that the parents are to blame and the woman is already pregnant again. What mother and father would abandon the search and say let's have sex and have another child quickly. In a male dominated society where women are property this is exactly what happened in this situation.

I had a feeling from day 1 that the family or others close to them might be involved. Seeing this twist only reinforces that belief.

Bringing over 100K of this vermin was a mistake of incalculable scale.

Somehow their whole culture is even worse than Somali.

They should all be flown back to Bangladesh/Pakistan etc. immediately.

Seems like everything Republicans do can be erased the first day of a democratic administration while Democrat policies like this are often irreversible.

It does seem like that. Keep in mind much of DC works to undermine/stop conservatives/GOP every step of the way, as well. Crossfire Hurricane didn't happen in a vacuum. The state's apparatus doesn't even tolerate peaceful protest/assembly of dissenters at this time; they are thrown into the gulag, literally indefinitely.

Most likely the girl was sold to some Afghan warlord. I am afraid her quest for freedom was cancelled by her repressive culture. Democrats are so pro-women right?

I support the program that allows terps to immigrate. Part of the process, both while employed and later is the constant CI screening. There might be a few bad apples that make it through, but of the ones that I worked with and have been following have been the classic USA immigrant story. Couple of them enlisted. Their English skills, plus their self-selecting choice to assume the risk to work with us, implies an initial screening effect on who will try to assimilate and fit in.
-
You may apply for this program if you meet all of the following requirements:

You must be a national of Iraq or Afghanistan; and
You must have worked directly with the U.S. Armed Forces or under COM authority as a translator or interpreter for a period of at least 12 months; and
You must have obtained a favorable written recommendation from a General or Flag Officer in the chain of command of the U.S. Armed Forces unit that was supported by you, as a translator or interpreter, or from the Chief of Mission from the embassy where you worked.

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/siv-iraqi-afghan-translators-interpreters.html

There is a separate program for those that just worked for our troops in some capacity. That program may have let some in that aren't assimilating.

Refugees are supposed to be kept as close as possible to their original country.

Turkmenistan and many others absolutely wouldn't take them, but logically Pak/Bangladesh are muslim nearby countries which would certainly take cash to house them for a while. The point is we had no business flying them around the globe to reside in Texas with zero real cultural ties to this hoard.

It looks like Pakistan and Iran are the main countries that take/took in Afghan refugees (1.4 mil and 0.7 mil).

Yes, and Denmark, the UK, and others are also now processing illegal aliens/'refugees' who enter illegally offshore, as we were doing until Poopy Pants decided to just go back to catch and release in the US.

It's beyond self-destructive/mere insanity what we are doing with the Afghans, and our own border control.

Never, ever vote for a democrat.

It looks like you (a) aren't citing your source, and (b) what you are claiming is related to the protracted wars in Afghanistan over decades, not the Taliban taking back over when Biden surrendered to them and flew 100K to the US.

Quote:

A federal grand jury indicted Bahrullah Noori, 20, on charges that he tried to molest two underage boys. The grand jury issued a separate indictment against Mohammad Haroom Imaad, 32, on charges that he strangled and suffocated his wife. Noori and Imaad were among 12,500 refugees airlifted from Afghanistan to Fort McCoy during the U.S. military withdrawal last month.

The cases are likely to stoke concerns about the government's vetting process for the 100,000 refugees brought to the United States during the airlift. Gov. Tony Evers (D., Wis.) accused conservatives last month of engaging in "dog whistle crap" for questioning the screening process. Republicans have cast doubt on the Biden administration's ability to screen for suspected terrorists and other criminals. Speaking at an event at Fort McCoy on Aug. 31, Evers said that Republicans were "vastly uninformed" about the screening process.

Days earlier, Evers welcomed the refugees to Wisconsin, saying that "a lot of families, a lot of women, a lot of kids" were being housed at Fort McCoy. "They were vetted when they were in Europe. They were vetted when they were in the U.S. So I feel very confident what's happening is the right thing," Evers said.

According to an FBI affidavit, Noori was caught molesting a 12-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy in a bathroom at Fort McCoy. A witness caught Noori trying to have sex with the 14-year-old and later trying to kiss the younger boy.

The boys told investigators that Noori fondled them repeatedly and pressured them to have sex, according to the affidavit.

Imaad was arrested days after his wife said he beat and choked her during an incident on Sept. 7. The woman said that Imaad had abused their children, and that he had raped her and threatened to kill her while they were at Fort McCoy. She said that Imaad told her that 9 Afghan women had been killed at Fort McCoy and that she would be the 10th. She also said that Imaad threatened to send her back to Afghanistan, where she would fall into the hands of the Taliban.

It is unclear what qualified Noori and Imaad for refugee status. The Department of Homeland Security did not respond to a request for details on their qualification as refugees. Evers's office also did not respond to a request for comment about the cases.

This was all done with zero vetting (despite the lie above by Gov. Evers, a Democrat), because the executive branch is run by abject morons who hate the US.

Thank you for agreeing with me:

  • Pakistan would be the best place to have sent refugees
  • We took 100K for no reason to the US, other than to somehow import crime/horrible values/culture/create Dem dependent voters.
  • Your source on who took refugees from Afghan goes back decades, not to when we airlifted them to Italy and then the US.
  • We could have just sent them largely to Pakistan as there is a huge population there, and they are nearest to their families still in Afghan etc.

They are a criminal problem in every country they do 'settle' in (your first link):

Quote:

116,403Afghan asylum seekers and 980Afghan refugeesare residing inTurkey.
Roughly 12,818 Afghans in an irregular situation were arrested byTurkish authorities from January to April 2021.
6,000 Afghans were deported from Turkey to Afghanistan from January to December 2020

Thank you. I know exactly where that is. I eat at that Alamo Cafe. I had no idea that the entire complex was for these refugees.

That is right down the street from USAA and there is a large community of west Asians who work at USAA who live in that area and walk to work. Many of them shop at my HEB.

I have no problem with this at all, incidentally. The people I see in the area seem hard working and keep to themselves.

Thank you again.

Here is the fine print of what you're referring to: IRREGULAR MIGRATION (Turkish gov't website)

What is irregular migration, you may be wondering?

KEY MIGRATION TERMS
Quote:

Irregular migration Movement of persons that takes place outside the laws, regulations, or international agreements governing the entry into or exit from the State of origin, transit or destination.

I didn't miss that, it's just irrelevant to why we needed to fly 100K to the US.

What, though, would make you suspect their laws/borders should be enforced? Do you think the lack of enforcement is what has led to a crime surge as indicated at your link? They've been dealing with hordes of refugees from Syria/Pakistan/Afghanistan/Iraq for many years. Is that a bad thing for some countries?

You don't think they should just be granted permanent resident/asylum claims, and eventually citizenship for some reason?

Thank you for the entertainment this morning. The cognitive dissonance of the American left still makes me laugh.

They're Afghanis, she's tall, and no one saw anything. That's really about it. So they call it off because of the accusatory conspiracy theories, which only reinforces the accusatory conspiracy theories.
