Someone at the Ministry of Truth has been working overtime with their little bank tube. Good gosh. And gatorade is not exactly healthy, with about 50 grams of sugar in one average bottle. And there are better ways to rehydrate than gatorade. Pickle juice (yummy), and I believe that milk is a top hydrator as well.

Best source of hydration is water. Period.
Not necessarily. I cycle a lot and if I'm not getting electrolytes during the heavy season I'll cramp. I drink about 50 oz per 1-1/2 hours and in that I'll have 20 oz of Gatorade. That might be more than I need but I've proven that 0 is definitely less than I need. Straight water doesn't do it when I'm riding 100+ miles in a week.
The federal government was never meant to be this powerful.
