I'm not so sure this was English class. It could have been, but she said her teacher not only required her to memorize this trash, but act it out in front of the class.

I would have mentioned the teacher's full name twice before beginning. I would have continued reading that loudly until I finished or was arrested. I likely would have already made a police report prior to this meeting related to this individual assaulting my minor by assigning this pornography.

Anyone that supports this needs to be called a groomer.

1) "Would not want her fired" is why we post anger on a message board because most people abhor confrontation. Thankfully, I was not cursed with that affliction. I'd make it my mission to have the teacher and principal fired at any monetary cost. You fight to the end or just remain quiet and submit.

2) Yes, you have to login if you'd like to make a comment and the benevolent board allows you 3 minutes to speak at the beginning and then discard your concerns and move onto school business.

I would be flipping over tables. Why does even the smallest amount of authority turn some into ****heads.

How is this not sexual harassment? If you walk around the office reading that to co workers you're getting a call to HR and probably a lawsuit. Parents need to start taking legal action and making these schools pay.

What the daughter wants couldn't be less relevant. 48 rule and all that. I want the specifics of the assignment. But if the mom's version is correct, then the fact that the kid supposedly thinks the world of her teacher is precisely why the teacher should be fired.
