It's a nice rant except for the ******bag in the audience laughing. He compliments Trump so you may want to watch.
And yet, he still hates Republicans and conservatives and will not call out the Democrats. He will spell out the problems but will never lay blame where it needs to be.BuddysBud said:
Based upon the audience reaction, it looks like Biden might be bringing Americans together. Everyone seems to be against the crap that Biden and the Democrats have brought to the country.
Overall, Maher's monologue is neither funny nor entertaining. Bringing up serious issues followed by a lame joke falls flat.

That guy in the audience is awful

Maher is a classical liberal. The democrat party has left him for full on progressivism/socialism/communism.
That's what happens when you start pandering to the communist, antifa, and blm crowd.
Unfortunately, all those dead voters aren't paying attention.

This is all true, but as willing to look at his party and criticize as he seems to recently be, he is just as unwilling to consider that the propaganda lines describing republicans is at all off. His recent Rogan appearance was a fascinating watch of someone exposing their prejudices/blind spots. He and Rogan go on for an hour about disinformation/restricted speech and sharing of ideas, and then he pivots to how republicans are ALL anti-science because they have challenged the "accepted science" of climate change.
There were 2-3 other points that made me laugh at just how dense he was being about certain points, which is somewhat understandable because he has been spouting those talking points for 30+ years. It's hard for a tiger to change its stripes but that one discussion was the strongest example.
Literally went from talking about how people within the scientific community made it impossible for other scientists (let alone laymen) to discuss alternative theories, no matter the evidence or importance, and the next point he makes is that anyone who challenged accepted climate conclusions/predictions (which have NEVER been proven accurate) as verbatim "science deniers" was ****ing hilarious, while also infuriating.
