......beware. Discord is using combination of AI and reports from users to disband communities that they say 'spread disinformation'.... They took down a large community belonging to my friend and Auburn Grad (known as @L on Gab). Also goes by 'SomeB*tchIKnow'

Her crime? Posting the Pfizer data and linking to the 2000 Mules stuff.

Alternative for now seems to be Guilded for audio communities. @TheQuartering moved his whole community from Discord over to Guilded seeing this coming many months ago.

Hopefully there will one day be an open source cloud based audio program that can handle the load and latency that is decentralized. Maybe something Rumble or LBRY foundation can come up with.

Yep.

They are going to fail though. As they do this, they drive out people who are just normally gamers, but who may also be a member of one of these 'disinformation' communities.

L's discord was a combination - We played games and talked populist politics and culture.

I am on the older end of the group in my mid 40s but most are age 20-35ish.

Translation:

The online voice chat program known as "Discord" began using bots and heavy handed moderators to detect wrong-think within their communities and began banning the individual servers and their communities from the service.

My friend owned one such community.

The given reason was for "members of the community posting actual factual news regarding the pfizer data dumps and an upcoming movie about the 2020 election called "2000 mules".

We are in search of a new online voice chat program that will not censor our communications in such a way. The most likely candidate that several large communities are already moving to is a voice chat program known as "Guilded".

I am hopeful that one of the "Open source software groups" like Rumble or LBRY takes up building a competing program that is free of the tyranny of the progressive overlords. Open source software is a designation for a piece of code free to use by anyone who wants to use it and is generally coded by individuals free from a corporate ownership of said code."

Thats a terrible translation. How does one own a community? We talking a sub-division or something?

Think of it as a "Facebook Group" page. The creator of the page "owns" it and can appoint moderators and such.

Until facebook decides your page violates the Terms of Service. And then they delete your Group for you.

That is what Discord is doing.

Even more proof that this is not your first account on here.

Don't forget that Microsoft is buying Discord if they don't already own it.
