They assume all sorts of group sameness.

A healthy country celebrates individuals, not ethnic groups.

As a Gen-Xer, I am still deeply disappointed in the progressive left. We were nearly there. We had all but purged real racism from our society and were mopping up the remaining sad remnants or were waiting for it to pass in into history, but that wasn't going to be politically useful for the radical left, so they had to revive racism.

Now Gen Z apoarently isbthe most racist and race focused group in 3 generations.

**** you, progressive left. **** you all for doing this to them, to all of us. Out of pure selfish greed.

Yup, and you can blame Obama for much of it. He could've done so much to progress that and he **** the bed. Michelle was even worse.

Meh, they're not receiving their diplomas at these celebration as far as I can tell. Doesn't seem to be a big deal as it seems to be just a party celebrating graduates from these groups.

Exactly

It is like a sorority having its own ceremony
Could a white's only one be held?
The point everybody misses is that the Anglo-White A&M component wouldn't want one and couldn't care less about having one. The overt racism and non-inclusion the POCs evidently wish to exploit and illustrate really doesn't exist. It's not quite the "sorority back patting" Tanya hypothetically describes, because it is thrown out there as a racial/cultural separation by design.

They also say "everyone is welcome" to make it sound inclusive, but at the same time they don't target "everyone" for celebration by virtue of the event name.

One of my meathead virtue signaling friends decided he was going to recognize the accomplishments of Latinx students at A&M by finding out when A&M started allowing Hispanics to be admitted and when did the first Hispanic student graduate from A&M.

He was sorely disappointed when he discovered the answers to his questions were in the 1800s.
Kinda like they forget the support for the Texas revolution among the Hispanic Texians of the time.

The obamas were the worlds most powerful couple. They are very rich. They get lots of attention. The only thing I can think of as to why they are pissed off, is that they don't like being black.

Liberals are the most easily manipulated beings on the planet. Complete inability to thrive on independent thought..one can't help but draw a line between religious and liberal tactics of exploiting the youth. But libs never grow out of it and remain trapped as children.

Yea, racist.

Might as well put the segregated water fountains back in.

Technically, but if you didn't know Barak's lineage, you'd never know his mom was White.

Opposite with Meghan Markle. If I didn't know her mother was black, I wouldn't guess it.

Sad it all matters so much.

Somebody should print out a BIG SIGN of Bull Connor with the caption " I approve of this event " and go to it and parade around the event with the sign and caption !!.
Those racist morons won't get it, but still would be fun. Something like that needs to be done at every one of these segregated events !!

The truth is that real racism as just about completely dead in the US going into 2008, which is why honestly it was such a non-issue to elect a black president. Almost no one I knew cared what color he was (though I did care about his awful policies)

Rather than taking what should have been the final step towards compete unity, Obama started the dramatic division. The last 14 years since then has been such a strong pull apart, particularly along racial dimensions, driven by the left. There is literally nothing the leftists can view through any lens other than race.

Granted, my views were overly weighted by being brought up in Texas and the southern culture, which is a hell of a lot less racist than the northeast or west coasts. I wonder why that is.

Caucasian Graduation Celebration
[date] | 6:00pm | [location]

The goal of the Caucasian Graduation Celebration is to create a space for graduates who identify within the White community to celebrate and honor their cultural heritage and history. Each participant can invite two guests to their in-person graduation celebration. You will receive your stole at the celebration. If you are interested in participating in the Caucasian Graduation Celebration, please complete the RSVP form in its entirety as well as the $30 payment. The payment will include a stole and a guaranteed spot at the ceremony.
Imagine the heads exploding.

And you could say, "Hey! It is open to anyone!," and you could add, "Hey, it is no big deal! Don't be so miserable!'

But you and I and everyone else knows that it would be corrosive to the Aggie culture.

The other segregated events are no different.
