The entire city has been a gay district for at least a decade

My wife finished school there about a decade ago. We went back for a staycation a couple summers ago and even she was like "wtf happened to this place?". We couldn't believe how weird and effeminate literally every single male was. Used to be such a cool city, even if weird. I loved visiting from College Station every once in a while back in the day. Now it's just an over congested white liberal maggot Mecca.

I think the known gay bar in the 1980s was Hall's (or something like that). It had the same reputation that hot women would go there, especially since they stayed open after the other 6th Street bars closed. You could still go dance there even if though they weren't serving. I went with a friend after hours once when I was 18. I don't remember much because I was pretty trashed. Didn't seem like there were a lot of hot women there and we left after about 15 minutes

There used to be a lot of good bars on 6th. It was a fun place to grow up. Too bad it sucks so much now.

I haven't been to 6th street since the 2007 - I guess it has all devolved into crime and crap.

Back in the day, my cousin worked at a gay bar cause 'the tips were better'.

I see what you did there.

This is my exact thought, just now.

The whole city is Liberace banging Elton John, on a rainbow shaped...and colored....bed, gay.
Dude there are literally more gay people in one part of Houston than the entirety of Austin. Austin may be a cesspool but let's not pretend that is something unique.
