the obsession or addiction was borne from pure manufactured hatred. the guy who oversaw record low unemployment and record low gdp growth was really only guilty of calling out the fake news establishment for being fake and the crooked political establishment for being crooked, but that crossed the establishment, so the hatred has gone to obsession and addiction.
