Can't believe nobody has commented about the paper plates on the perps shiny new Jeep Grand Wagoneer.

The fleeing suspect was killed in a shootout moments later.
Not yet but there's a College Station company that's developed a clear film that makes glass bullet proof up to a .45 and they're working on another product that will stop a 7.62. Better still the officer can shoot through it from the inside. Last week they had a fundraiser in town helping to raise money to help agencies afford the $7500 it takes to outfit a vehicle. It's coming.deddog said:

It gets better. Look at the statement from family.

His mom Lisa says he ended up here in Oklahoma because he was on a wellness journey.
"He is a wonderful son, father, business owner, a master welder and he is dearly missed," said Lisa Carswell.
Troopers say Carswell caught their attention because he was wanted in connection to an armed robbery in Arizona.
However, his mom says he just stole watermelon.
"He was there on a wellness journey. Camping and being spiritual. He had been there for a bit and doing things he liked to do in his last moments. I am really upset about this."
In the dashcam video, you can see Carswell fire at officers.
Family members say he got out and began playing the bongo drums and that's when troopers shot and killed him.
Why do all these arrest resisting low lives have mothers/family members defending their actions even when there is clear evidence to the contrary? After reading these articles for years, I truly believe that it takes at least one of three things to resist arrest and then complain about the consequences:
1. Being on drugs and truly not being yourself in the moment
2. Psychiatric problems
3. Narcissism coupled with strong co-dependent behavior from family
All the "he was a good boy", " he was going to college", "he was just scared" etc…. That excusing of bad behavior was going on long before the perp tried to kill cops. If he is on video trying to kill police officers and this is the response from the mother, what other atrocities has this guy done that his mother has covered up or brushed off?
