This laptop isn't from 20 years ago, pictures will have better resolution than that one. A very common technique for faked videos and pictures is to lower the quality to make it harder to spot definitive marks of being edited.

Supposedly it's a still from a video. Some people claim to have seen it before Twitter removed it.

This is a real tactic. It's the perfect way to dismiss an issue and never have to answer questions.

After the election there were fabulous claims of fraud like the Sharpie scenario and others that went viral immediately and then were proven false. Then of course the media dismissed all claims. It's the perfect disinformation campaign to cover up a crime.
