Covid was only ever a really bad flu. We would lose 30 to 60,000 people a year to the flu, 85,000 in 2017 and no one ever lost their *****

If the real numbers were out there they probably barely have had over 100,000 which is just a bad flu season.

When mask mandates started drying up in late February, I told myself there must have been a memo going around the Democratic party forecasting doom and gloom in November by doubling down on every variant. This pretty much confirms my thoughts.

I almost posted this same thread yesterday. Is covid even being reported on? I don't watch the news. Are they still talking about case numbers and deaths? covid hasn't been a topic of conversation w/people I know in a long time. If it weren't for the occasional people I see still attached to their face diapers I would have completely forgotten about it.

There is a group of people, myself included, that decided in March 2020 not to participate in the masks, vaccines, etc and went about life normally. Then another group that is addicted to it. Can't give up the masks, look forward to a booster and can't talk about much else

In 10 years when Netflix releases the documentary about the greatest hoax ever perpetrated the latter group will lose it.

Heck no it's not over. Biden just got his fourth shot and says everyone over 50 needs another!

I got Covid and later got 2 shots. I didn't get a booster and don't plan to. The variants after Delta have been mild.

I get flu shots, shingles shots, etc.... I am not opposed to adding that to the yearly list if it prevents/lessens the flu like symptoms. I'm relatively healthy so I'm not worried about Covid death.

Today's Texas number for hospitalizations is 1,134 (bear in mind that's people with a positive test, many aren't in the hospital for covid)

On April 4, 2020, the second day the state reported stats: 1,132

I've got an antigen test scheduled for 0900 tomorrow morning so that I can return to my home country. Until these bureaucrats remove the testing requirements for returning home, the charade lives on.
