Something no short of medical malpractice has arisen out of fear of the LGBT "mafia". They are welfunded and relentless.

This is not science and there are very real and dramatic consequences to the liberality of letting people, especially children and teenagers, transition.

The science is far from settled. And with something so life changing, we cant afford to let people try and convince society that this is settled science.

Depends.

If a 16 year old with body dysmorphia was anorexic, we wouldn't do gastric bypass on them. This transitioning is the same thing. These are people that need actual help in seeing and learning to love who they are, not hormones and surgery to pretend thwy are something tbey are not

I agree though, to a degree. It's not Rowling as much as Harry Potter the character that has the name recognition.

The difference is Rowling's recognition and influence is based on something that crosses political, social and religious lines. Pretty much everyone under age 40 in America, Canada, Australia and much of Europe has read the books, seen the movies or both regardless of their ideology. It's estimated more people in the first world under age 40 have read a Harry Potter book than the Bible. She's one of the richest women in the world, and her work is arguably more worked into our social mythos and vernacular than anything else in the last 25 years.

She's untouchable as an artist on a level only people like Michael Jackson have achieved. That dude (allegedly) diddled children and the worst thing that happened was an unflattering documentary that came out long after his death. There's no chance she's getting banned on Twitter for virtually anything.

Her actual name and person has been fading into obscurity for years. The movies have become the established as the definitive interpretation, and her subsequent works have never touched her high water mark.

She wrote a good series..... they will live on as part of pop culture. The only way she has managed to remain relevant as a celebrity is to be the controversial, shock jock ***** she is. She say what she says about trans people to get boards like this on her side, while constantly pandering to the left with diversity and inclusion ret-cons.

Don't worry, she'll decide another character needs to be gay at some point next week.
