His schtick is doing more harm than good at the moment.
Please list the harm being done. Be specific.
The fact that Russia is using his comments as propaganda not enough for you?
No it's not and you are a naive if you don't understand it's more complicated than that. Did you actually watch the segment?
One of the most important things Tucker is doing is he is pointing out this is a hell of a lot more complicated than "Russia Bad! Ukraine Good!" and that we are suddenly back to making the world free again. Last I checked we got out of that business. He also points out that Putin is a very bad guy (he says this repeatedly but somehow none of his critics hear it) but there is a very real strategic interest involved here. Russia does not want Ukraine in NATO because Ukraine is in a highly strategic location for Russia and Russia does not want it controlled by people who are unfriendly to Russia. NATO is not friendly to Russia by definition.
I'm a hell of a lot more suspicious of anyone that says Russia is doing this solely because Putin is a madman and he wants to bring back the USSR and destroy freedom. I just listened to Nikki Haley on the Rubin Report essentially say exactly that. Putin isn't doing this because he is a Bond villain, he is doing this because it is of strategic importance to Russia to control Ukraine or to at least make sure that it does not have an enemy controlling Ukraine. Now you can argue that Putin shouldn't be able to do that or is wrong for doing that and that's fine but if you don't understand his strategic interests in the territory you are either being dishonest or you are a useful idiot or you just don't understand Geopolitics.
Tucker has also been very supportive of the Ukrainian people but he has made the very valid argument that it isn't necessarily the best thing for them to have their country flattened in a proxy war. The best thing for Ukraine is for Russian troops to leave, not for a protracted war that destroys the country and really serves the interests or either Russia or NATO far more than Ukraine itself.
