What he ALLOWS is the implication that the oil companies ARE to blame. They are not. Is it true that we were not importing any oil from Russia 15 months ago?
If that is true, then what prevents us from simply doing whatever it was we were doing 15 months ago to meet demand at less than $2 per gallon, without reliance on Russian oil?
