I've been trying to look up candidates. Some don't even have websites and seem like complete jokes. There's nothing on them. Anyone know of a good resource?

Have there been debates amongst the primary candidates for the major statewide offices? Either I missed them or forgot about them.

If conservative issues such as right to life, parental rights, constitutionality, etc. interest you, this site is helpful. Enter your address near the top to pull up candidates for your voting area. Of real interest is the voluntary questionaire at the bottom of each candidate's page. Some choose to answer and some didn't. In my mind, to skip those questions might indicate an unwillingness to take a stand on controversial issues.

From this site above. Robert Morrow candidate for Texas State Board of Education District 56 here is his questionaire.

Qualifications: What training, experience and background qualify you for this position?

Robert Morrow Response: There is no candidate for Texas State Board of Education who cares more about watermelon-sized titties than does presidential historian Robert Morrow. I also am the president of the Lyndon Baines Johnson Institute for the Study of Presidential Crime.

Charter Schools: What is the impact of new independent charter school networks on the funding for local public schools? And is there anything you would do to change that impact?

Robert Morrow Response: I don't know that that impact is, you tell me? Whatever it is, I am completely opposed to charter schools. However I do support Texas high schools having "hot teacher" bikini contests every spring as a way of improving morale among the students. Charter school funding should go to supporting that. Pole dancing and twerking should be worked into the curriculum.

Recovery: What can the State Board of Education do to assist local school districts to develop programs so that students who fell behind from the pandemic can recover?

Robert Morrow response: Wish them well. Tell them "good luck" in the future. I have a plan to let the University of Alabama have a recruiting station embedded into every 6A high school in Texas. As for Texas A&M they should be forced to start transsexual, lactating linebackers in the spirit of "diversity, equity and inclusion." STEM program: I support teaching kids how to fart in Morse Code.

Other Issues: What other issues do you believe will be the most pressing for the State Board of Education?

Robert Morrow Response: Sex education is a big one for me. It should scientifically based and age appropriate. I have a plan to let teenaage mothers to have their babies in 9th grade biology class or the school auditorium, subject to a parental waiver.

Teenage boys should be warned about the horrific dangers of masturbating with Elmer's glue.

As for the boobies, I love them soooooooo much!
