A few months ago I texted her and asked her what can she do better than what Ken Paxton has already done she replied back to me and said I'll have to get back with you on that.

I was like WTF seriously you going to have to get back with me on that?

This means that she doesnt have Jack squat and I have a text message to prove it.

And this goes the same for George P and Gohmert they have nothing. All they're riding on is hoping that enough Republicans are steered to believe in the BS lies that Paxton could be indicted after the primaries it ain't happening people.

This carrot has been dangling for 6+ years.
You texted her? She was a Texas Supreme Court Justice, she's not responding to a random text.

"BUT DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?!?! I can MAKE you or BREAK you in Collin County!"

Probably talked to her campaign manager who told her the text came from a Paxton shill and not to respond under any circumstances.

After all, if the standing issue was so cut and dried the denial of cert would have been 9-0 instead of 7-2
no quite.

alito and thomas said they believed they had to grant the bill to review the case, but said nothing about standing. those are not the same thing. standing in that case " a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State conducts its elections"

they also said they would not grant the emergency relief sought, meaning the case would not have been heard on an expedited basis. they may not even have gotten to it yet.
You misunderstand me. I'm not saying Alito and Thomas would necessarily have been votes to grant standing, after all, you yourself point out that they "said nothing about standing." But really, that's beside the point. My real point is that the case was not as cut and dried as people like to think now that we know what the court did with it, and that, whatever you ultimately think of the merits of the suit, it was in a huge grey area at the time it was filed, and by no means a guaranteed failure as so many Paxton detractors like to say after the fact. Remember guys, hindsight is 20/20.

I like Paxton. He has pissed off enough people that he must be doing something right. The whomp eye helps too.

I guess she could have responded with "not be indicted" and "not have my staff report me for unethical behavior and violating the law"...

He had Project Veritas' tape (San Antonio lady coercing voters) to go along with other harvesting proof he'd been presented.

SCOTUS had vacations planned it would seem, which is why I've said before to check their flight/travel records.

They tossed waaay to much important stuff to the curb that season. All of it had national future & security implications.

SCOTUS: "Meh, seems legit. Let's wear our masks and sip margaritas in Cabo!!!"
Quite a story!

I'm voting for Eva because she appears to me to be the best qualified from a legal standpoint. Judge in a District court, Appellate Judge, Supreme Court Justice, and former litigator for a very good law firm.

When she files a suit on behalf of the state, I have real confidence it will have a strong legal basis and all of the necessary t's and i's will be crossed and dotted.

This is well said. She's easily the most qualified candidate in the race, and it's not particularly close. Unfortunately, she may not have a chance against the crowd who only cares about owning the libs and being loyal to Trump, but she is hands down the best lawyer in the bunch.

" who only cares about owning the libs and being loyal to Trump"

There is nothing more important right now than owning the libs, Trump aside.

FYI you're supposed to at least pretend to care about actually governing, passing laws etc.

Nope already have way too much of that. I only care about repealing laws.

That would be governing. "Owning the libs", whatever that means, is not.

No disagreement there but you actually have to take action. People like Youngkin are the future of the GOP if they actually want to win and make a difference, not morons like MTG.

I'd say Youngkin is owning the libs pretty damn well.
