If that would have been my dad's, brother's or buddy's funeral I would have shown her zero restraint. She absolutely would not have been anywhere near my loved one's funeral.

The general election split is on party lines, not race. She didn't win because she's Latina, she won because some white dude named Robert Francis was on top of the Dem ticket.
The balkanization taking place is in the local democrat primary races, where they are booting out as many straight white men as possible. Don't play that racist/victimhood hierarchy game.

I dont know when this all happened, but I went to 5 different Houston news outlets and this story is nowhere to be found. Frick'n ridiculous.

I went looking for the story yesterday when I saw the link to Michael berry's podcast. No luck. Did see several articles today on the Chron and Ch 13 about her primary and November challengers. She had a presser yesterday where she said she will be re-elected and anyone using the crime wave against her is just dirty politics.

Rumor among people in public service is that the family didn't want her there. The reason that she wasn't excluded was to avoid her making something political out of the funeral.
