Of course the whole premise of the BLM worldview plays into that white corporate guilt, but there is no doubt that corporate America didn't need to be solicited or threatened, they raced to throw $ at BLM, instead of an actual charity.

It's a brilliant strategy really. I can't think of a better way to win than getting a bunch of limp wristed liberal morons to throw money into a white guilt pile. Bonus is that if you appear to be left wing, there's an almost zero chance you'll every face any sort of legal scrutiny. Sounds like a very easy and low risk way to get rich quick if you can manufacture a false crisis and blame it on whitey.
