Basic rundown

Guy molests 10 year old girl in a bathroom when he was 17
He is now 26 but the DA prosecutes him as a juvenile.
When taken into custody he claims to be female.
He is sentenced to 2 years in a juvenile facility
He will be housed with the underage females. EDIT (possibly isolation in the female section)
Oh and to top it all off, once he is out he will not have to register as a sex offender.
