I was on my bike and they blew thru a stop sign.
Fortunately people didn't let him leave.
I was fine
My purple bike mangled
Cops were called
Insurance got me a new one weeks later.

Anyone else notice how she seemed to become cross-eyed after getting hit?
Hope she got a CAT scan afterwards.

Sad, but I have become so skeptical of the media and our social media society that the first thing I thought after seeing OP's video was that it was most likely staged. I have no trust in what I see any longer.

The Hubs has a male cousin who had the opposite result. Live on a farm and backed out of the garage, three year old had run out of the front door and came around the corner at precise wrong time.

Bad time for the family. That was many, many years ago, they had another child but that loss still haunts both of them.

News reports indicate the bike was stolen.

In an emergency situation, I'd take that reporter over Tim any day. You can see him freeze up and not know how to even think. Good on her!

She did a great job keeping focus and finishing the story .The question I have is where did the crew setup?Was it near an intersection of a side road or parking lot? When doing live shots you want an appropriate background in a safe as possible location allowing for distracted drivers. Unfortunately there is a lot of pressure from producers to set up fast and get on the air. Do not know if that was the case. She and the photographer were very lucky.
