There are numerous posts here in just the last week (Unpopular opinion thread) from the largely Republican audience of F16 that to vote you should have to pay taxes, own land, be a man, etc.

Let's not pretend that there is ZERO cause for concern re: voting rights.
So because a few posters on F16 say these things, that gives license to leaders in the Democrat Party like Schumer and Biden to continually lie and gaslight about voter suppression, return to Jim Crow era policies, claim blacks are disenfranchised by being asked to show an ID to vote (a completely and utterly racist notion in and of itself). I dont' see any Republican politicians putting laws in place attempting the things you say in bolded text so its a complete strawman.

He's a one issue voter and goal tends for them. What's funny is if they're successful in taking over elections they will cast him aside and import millions of Muslims. I really don't think he's thought about the guaranteed outcome should that happen.

Being frustrated that 61% of people don't pay any taxes, and that 61% being the primary voter base of your socialist party, is not the same as saying they shouldn't have the right to vote. There are fundamental issues that have created a society of free loaders, homelessness, violence and crime, and victimhood that your party loves to take advantage of and these issues need to be fixed starting with family and morals, but you support it, so no use arguing with you.
I don't disagree there are systemic issues the govt has a hand in via policy/programs (both parties have some guilt here), BUT this thread is about voting rights.
Let's not pretend that Whoopie and like propagandists are talking in any shape form or fashion about the voting wishes in the 'unpopular opinion' thread you mentioned above.

Whoopie and those that believe her are 100% moron propagandists to say that voting rights are being trampled. The left knows it needs votes from people that are too lazy to do the work to vote legally. This bill paves the way for ballot harvesting, pure and simple.

Making someone do minimal effort to vote isn't taking their right away. That's as stupid as saying you're taking my right away to buy beer because someone doesn't randomly show up at my door with a keg on a cart.

Just stop! What you brought up would never be presented, passed into law, or stand up to constitutional challenge. A slippery slope is what's happening now with punishing Americans for not taking a worthless vaccine and them being fired from their careers and the fact SCOTUS hasn't ruled yet when constitutionally should have already been destroyed with a 9-0 vote.

Your pathetic attempt to defend every aspect of this illegitimate administration makes you a caricature, a bad joke.

I saw tons of black people voting last year in the Presidential election. Is the argument black dont have access to polling stations? They aren't smart enough to register to vote and make their way to a station?

This cant be a serious argument.

They can use their ID to prove that a vax card is theirs, but they're too stupid and suppressed if they have to show their ID to prove they are the person who is registered to vote. It's obviously a racist threat to democracy if easy fraud loop holes don't remain open.

That's not her specific argument. I believe she is saying that after last years election and black and minorities turnout Republicans sought to pass legislation to stop that from occurring in the next election.

I believe that she is saying the suppression is in the large amounts of legislation passed after the election and legislation attempted to pass are responses to that turnout which saw the most votes ever cast in our nations history.

That's fair of you to have that opinion but others opinions differ. Ultimately this will be decided by the courts as their opinion is the most relevant.

Provide an example of any legislation that limits eligible minorities with valid ID from voting in an election.

Hell show us an example of one that is more restrictive than vaccine passport mandates. Starting Saturday, to enter a restaurant, gym, etc. in Washington DC you have to present BOTH a vaccine record AND a photo ID. Your party wants people in DC to vote without an ID but not get on a treadmill? Explain how this makes sense.

And that argument is dumb, correct? The republicans said as soon as the mail in ballots were proposed that this would lead to huge issues with verifying elections, again when they were put into effect, a third time during the election, and then spent months after saying the same thing.

Regardless of what you think happened in the last election, does anyone really want to go through days of not knowing who won the election again, when there are simple steps that can be taken (require a photo ID in person for the abled, give two weeks of early voting, mail in ballots from the disabled or overseas received after the election will not be counted) that could lead to much quicker certification and less dispute of the results after?

So if I understand you correctly, You and Whoopi are tacitly admitting that the record minority turnout is only due to vast ballot harvesting and organizer gathering of blocs that would normally not go to the trouble to exercise their Civic duty?

And any legislation that is passed to reduce ballot harvesting, pay-for-votes, and other schemes that this prior election legalized and/or made easier, constitutes minority voter suppression? In other words, anything should be fair game as long as it increases minority turnout?

A. You're admitting this? B. You agree with this take?

Minorities can show up in droves for covid testing and handouts. They also also know how to find and fill out every possible form to get as much free **** as they can and abuse the system. If they can go to all that trouble, they can be bothered to get a paper ID for voting purposes.
