Why did Democrats use it 327 times in 2020?
Of course it was for that. In what universe did you think it was okay to post a naked man spreading open his butt cheeks on our platform?

Careful, it only became racist when Republicans became the minority party. Definitely none of Chuck Schumer's 500+ times voting to invoke it was bad, certainly not when he used it to block that bigot Tim Scott's police reform bill in 2020.

I like the filibuster. If you can't get 60 senators to back legislation then it probably shouldn't pass.

This is absolutely it in a nutshell. If Schumer's voting rights legislation was so good for America and most people wanted it, no talk of overcoming a filibuster or changing the rules to eliminate it would exist because the legislation would be wanted and truly necessary.

This legislation to federalize certain rules around elections is being pushed by Dems because they know it ultimately benefits their chances of keeping power. That's it. They don't care a whit for "protecting democracy" or "voter rights", they want to memorialize into law the shenanigans that helped them win battleground states and the Georgia senator races.

In other words, write better legislation and don't waste time on partisan gaslighting to push a turd of a bill.

When something works for the Left, they embrace it; when it works against them, they trash it. And, they are never held accountable by MSM or the Anti-Social Media.....

    Quote:

Videos from 2005 and 2019 show Joe Biden saying getting rid of Senate filibuster is 'arrogance of power' after he tells Georgia crowd on Tuesday it's time get rid of it to push through voting reform
    • Joe Biden on Tuesday traveled to Georgia to promote voting reform and said that he was in favor of ending the Senate filibuster if need be to achieve it
    • A filibuster is an attempt to delay or block a vote on a piece of legislation or a confirmation; a debate can continue without voting until there are 60 votes
    • Biden, when in the Senate, gave a speech in 2005 defending the filibuster and insisting it was vital to democracy
    • In 2019, he reiterated his support of the rule, stating: 'Ending the filibuster is a very dangerous thing to do'

It's almost like the federal government is not meant to have broad powers over the individual, and any changes should have broad consensus. We are not a democracy. We don't believe in mob rule.

This has to be a Cloward-Piven attempt to put the nail in the coffin on this republic. This is my line in the sand for TEXIT along with stacking the court. By either side.

The Marxists figure if they can force this one they'll be able to maintain control no matter how unpopular they may be because it will give them the permanent ability to cheat.

They couldn't care less about this country, our Constitution, or fair elections. This is a raw power play plain and simple.

!. Democrats howl and want to get rid of the electoral college when Trump won.

    2. Democrats want to change the number of SC judges to add additional liberal judges.

    3. And now the elimination of the filibuster in the Senate.

And Democrats and liberals scream that Republicans are the ones that want power and destroy "Democracy".

Just curious, what are you going to do about it when they cross that line in the sand?
