Paul just ripping into Fauci this morning! Great stuff.

I sure hope to see Fauci back up next year with a Republican controlled Senate and Paul getting to question him again.
This guy actually instead needs to be on trial! Criminal trial not a Senate hearing.
He's killed more people than any serial killer in the history of the country.

There are some things I like about Trump, mostly how well things were going under him until Covid, but him not doing his due diligence on Fauci is inexcusable, and Trump is an idiot for sticking with him. Just the fact that Fauci idolized Hillary Clinton and basically wrote her love letters telling her how heroic she was for how she handled the Benghazi hearings should have been the ultimate red flag. Trump doing ANY basic research at all, would have revealed Fauci for the corrupt slimy little weasel that he is...and that doesn't even factor in his horrible track record with HIV/AIDS in the 80's.Kashchei said:
Trump's biggest mistake was not firing that fraud. Although Xiden would probably have just brought him back.
Dr. Fauci is deflecting. The fact someone was arrested in Iowa for threatening him is not germane. The Democratic Party leadership are masters of deflecting and derailing.Old Sarge said:

This, coming from a man who helped the Chinese Communist Party in the development of a bio-weapon, who at the very least facilitated the spread, making Fraudchi at least partially (at a minimum) responsible for the deaths of MILLIONS worldwide.
Dr. Fraudchi, your weaponized virus is much more deadly than one guy with an AR-15, you piece of garbage.

I'm sorry, but what good do these hearings do? Pessimism is starting to take over.
They did last time against Holder the former AG, held him in contempt, he didn't careCentral Committee said:
The Republican controlled House needs to open a formal investigation of Fauci, NIH, and CDC. Also do Hunter and Big Guy Biden over China connections. Subpoenas out the ***.
In addition to the fact that the public is owed the truth on EVERYTHING Covid, the GOP needs to use the same political weapons the dems use. Lawsuit after lawsuit after lawsuit. Divert their attention from their socialist agenda and drain their resources.
Finally, the Republicans need to repay the dems/communists political attacks, and kick Swallowell and Omar off their committees for violations of the espionage act and for antiemetic hate speech, respectively.
It is time for the Republicans to be just as ruthless as the dems/communists have been.
They are diabolical masters at weaponizing peoples' compassion/empathy/emotional responses/desire to feel noble and virtuous etc. against themselves and society at large. It's a deflection technique for sure and the fuel that helps them push their agenda and policies through. They know that people want to feel noble and virtuous, but that they are generally lazy, so the easiest way for many of them to do that is to just check certain boxes at the voting booth.richardag said:Dr. Fauci is deflecting. They played with fire and we all got burned. They were so fearful of another SARS outbreak that they engaged in high risk research to see how great the risk actually could be for humans, without considering the even greater risk that constitutes. They failed to do basic math: there is a very low risk a virus emerges from a natural source and spreads into a pandemic. There is a somewhat higher risk that if you go collect a large number of viruses that could do this, replicate them in labs and either enhance or isolate and replicate the worst of them to see how virulent they can get that a single containment failure could trigger the pandemic that was supposed to be prevented. If you collect the most ideal pandemic viruses and bring them to an area with a dense population and replicate them in large quantities, whether enhanced or just selected for virulence, you've created a far greater risk than the background statistical danger of doing nothing.
It was idiotic to give this research to a communist government, and it was idiotic to conduct it anywhere near an urban area.
I agree completely and this is a good post. I will add that it was idiotic at best but I also have no doubt there were those questioning how it could be used to control a population. The history of our government leaders the last couple of decades leads me to believe this was done for more than just the fear of another SARS outbreak.MouthBQ98 said:

Correction; it was not just idiotic (and immoral), it was also illegal, as the DoD found, but Fauci ignored that because he wanted to funnel to EcoHealth/WIV.MouthBQ98 said:

I think we would like to know where you're coming from. Please reference posts where you expressed incredulity or outrage that Fauci has continued gain of function research in China after it was outlawed in the US resulting in the deaths of millions of people, crashed economies, lifelong ailments, and draconian measures taken against people world wide.Proc92 said:Are you stating you wish Paul was murdered by a Democrat terrorist?Womackster said:nortex97 said:

Fauci has nothing to do now, much as our own coronabro's, but demagogue and claim his opponents are just mischaracterizing and taking comments out of context.
Too bad the police stopped that guy.

This is kind of like saying "I hope your kid gets killed by a drunk driver"
This needs more context. As it stands, it doesn't look good.
