Me and my family was a close friend of Kelly for more than 20 years. We met during the bonfire collapse and she stayed at our house for football games over the decades most every game. She was a nice person.

She was a crusader for many causes sometimes to the point of her detriment. Many of us talked to her about getting vaxed but she thought is was a government conspiracy and refused to get vaccinated.

She refused to get vaxed at work and get a religious exemption from having to get it.

She went to a Christian rally in Burleson of a group called something like Save Our Children which was an anit-vax rally of about 2,000 unvaxed persons with the keynote speaker being a Doctor that promoted all of the unproven treatments for Covid and that they were as good as the vax for prevention of getting sick and the treatment of Covid. (I won't give my opinion of a Christian group promoting that). That was the Saturday before Christmas. On Dec 23 she began to get sick. By Christmas she got vary sick and called 911. She had

Double Pneumonia and they took her to the emergency room and within a couple of days she was put on more and more Oxygen. she appeared to get a little better after New Years for a few days and then it got bad with some stomach reactions and she died in a couple of days;

She was a nice person and would do anything to help anyone anywhere. But she got caught up in the anti-vax movement and it costs her dearly.

People. GET THE FKING VACCINE!!!!!!

I was a a close friend of KJ .. we sat together at football games for years and traveled to basketball tournament and Gater bowl. I will miss her dearly ...

BUT I resent and I know Kelly would resent the vaccine propaganda supporting vaccines being used in connection with her death.

She had underlying medical conditions and she believe in liberty .. personal liberty. ... and everyones personal right to choose. I personally would also still choose no jab verus the other future medicine consequences.

BUT I will miss her A LOT!!
