Kelly was a great Aggie and die hard conservative. She pushed for many great conservative causes in Tarrant County and was very active in the Republican Party here. She pretty much single handedly pushed through the red light camera recall election in Arlington and helped push through the state law.

She died from COVID last night at a local hospital.

If she posted here, I don't know her handle. But she was a great hard working conservative voice that will be missed.

She came down with COVID right before Christmas. Her sister went to her house on Jan. 1 and called 911 - she had double pneumonia. Posted on Facebook on Saturday, went on vent yesterday and died today.

THANK YOU - for the life of me, I was certain she posted here once upon a time but could not remember the handle

I got to know her when we were doing the Arlington red light recall election in 2015.

She was a major contributor back in the days before TA split into a million different boards, probably 98/99-04 or so. I don't think she posted much in recent years.

My brother had the same. He pulled through. If it starts to take hold in your lungs, get to a hospital. Don't f*** around thinking you can beat it. By then it is too late to do it on your own.

She had a car with a Century Club sticker on it, but had to get the back window replaced for some reason. She was no longer a member, but wanted to replace the sticker. She posted on the GB to ask for a replacement. The first few responses were the typical "they'll give you another one for free," then it came out that she wasn't paid up. Typical early '00 General Board hilarity ensued.

I didn't know Kelly at the time, but not long after, she invited everyone to her parents' tailgate. I was with another girl, but that was the first time I laid eyes on my now wife of going on 18 years.
